Lloyd captures your wedding day as it really happens. His style is modern and unobtrusive, producing a collection of beautiful photographs in both colour and black and white. He will record the story of your day without interfering and ensure that any group or portrait photographs will be shot in an informal and relaxed manner.

Lloyd learnt his trade assisting Fashion photographers in London and Toronto. He then spent ten years working within the hairdressing industry for clients such as L’Oreal and Wella, capturing the work of the world’s top stylists and during this time his photographs were published in magazines around the world.

For the last nine years, however, he has been making his name as one of the pioneers of the Photojournalistic style within wedding photography.

The regular featuring of his images in Bridal magazines reinforces his reputation as an exceptional and accomplished photographer. Lloyd’s work is unrehearsed and uncontrived; he responds to the spontaneity of your day.

One of his satisfied clients, who works in the film industry, said after her wedding “Lloyd is more of an observer than a director”, a comment Lloyd takes as a great compliment.

However you describe his style, it obviously has great appeal as Lloyd travels across the UK and Europe to photograph weddings.

Lloyd’s clients tend to have weddings that are a little out of the ordinary and consequently they look for a photographer with a slightly different approach. This approach is especially valued by those whose guest list includes high profile individuals and Lloyd has covered weddings attended by, amongst others, David Coulthard, Jane Horrocks, Zoe Wanamaker and Freddie Ljunberg.

It is Lloyd’s aim to produce a collection of images that you can look at in ten years time and say, “that’s what our wedding day was like!”
